About Me

Hi, I’m Kim Ely
I have been working in the medical field for 15+ years. I’m a PA with a heart for patients and quality care. I started my PA career in private practice adult oncology and was disappointed to see how so many patients were left to fend for themselves during truly difficult times.
Later, I worked in pediatric oncology at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. It’s there that I saw medicine the way it should be: comprehensive care housed in one building with providers that knew one another and communicated early and often with each other and the families.
From there I transferred to Johns Hopkins Oncology program and Bone Marrow Transplant team. I cared for both pediatrics and adults, inpatient and outpatient. Using interdisciplinary teams and seeing first-hand how vital this model is with providing proper comprehensive care I communicated daily with pharmacists, physical therapists, doctors of all disciplines, dietitians, pain management and mental health providers.
It is this level of care that I aim to recreate for every single client/patient I work with as an advocate. Because we all deserve that.
